A brief history of the modern Olympic games followed by tables of results from the games up to the book's publication in 1956. Numerous of plate photographs (all black and white) at rear. Copy is in very good condition. Some very minor wear and scuffing to the black cloth boards and bumping to corners. Interior is very good indeed with all leaves bright, clean, and well bound. Dedication to former owner (the book was won as a prize at school) neatly pasted on front free end paper.
