Hakluyt Society edition of the journal kept by Capt. Charles Bishop on his five year voyage in the Pacific along with letters and memoranda regarding his ships and the voyage. Copy is in very good condition. Minimal wear to the blue cloth boards. Sunning to spine. Faint white (paint?) marks at top of rear board. Slight foxing to top page edges. Interior is clean and unmarked. Binding is solid and tight such that the book appears unread. Both fold-out maps in excellent shape.
