Standalone translation of Valentijn's description of Ceylon from his the fifth volume of his 1720s account of the "Old and New East Indies". Copy is in very good condition. Text appears unread and is unmarked with a tight, solid binding. Glossy fold-out map at rear in excellent shape. There is some wear to the blue cloth boards and sunning to spine. A few small damp stains to the front cover and foxing to top page edges.
