From Strang's "The Romance of the World" series. Undated, but presumably early 20th Century, children's compilation of various passages detailing important events in the history of India from the invasion of Alexander the Great to the colonization by Britain. Copy is in very good condition. Some faint wear to the illustrated red cloth boards. Front cover paste down depicting a warrior on horse back is unscuffed, though the similar illustration on spine has some minor scuffing. Interior is very good also. All leaves are unmarked and tightly bound. Some browning to the first few pages and foxing to page edges. An attractive and charming little book.
