Handsome later reprint of the landmark 1929 study of sexuality in Melanesian society. Malinowski's detailed account of the matrilineal society of the Trobriand Islanders is beautifully illustrated with a numerous black and white plate photographs. Copy is in near fine condition. Absolutely minimal wear to the maroon cloth boards. Interior is clean and unmarked. Dust jacket is very good.Price-clipping to the front flap, but else in excellent shape with minimal wear.
