First printing of the first edition of Alinsky's activist masterwork. As per Random House's format at the time, first printing is indicated by "First Edition" statement underneath number line ending in 2 (second printings have the number line ending in 2, but no statement of first edition). Copy is in very good+ condition. Absolutely minimal wear to the black cloth boards. "SA" initials in pink on cover and gilt title on spine still very bright. Interior is clean and unmarked with a tight, square binding. Dust jacket is good. Some general edge wear and scuffing. A touch of damage and loss to the top of the spine and damage, presumably from sticker removal, to the base of the spine. Jacket now wrapped in protective plastic cover. In all, a very handsome copy of a historic text.
