First edition of Hoffman's counter-cultural classic. Presumed first printing. No statement of subsequent printing on copyright page. Black cover with code "B-316-T" and price of $1.95 along with a cat logo at the top corners of the front and rear covers. Copy is in good condition, particularly for a pocket book of this age. Some general wear to the cover, most notably where the front meets the spine. Creasing to the spine. Interior is very good. Text is clean and unmarked and the binding is solid and tight. In all, a very well preserved copy of an important, historic text.
