Hardcover (good)
Undated, but presumably late 19th to early 20th century nautical text. The author, Capt. Robert Hatchwell was a British-born New Zealand master mariner who, with his family, ran a navigation school from his home "Devonia" in the New Zealand port town of Lyttleton from 1889 to his death in 1932. Copy is in good condition. Some wear and faint soiling to the blue cloth boards. Fraying to the corners and the top and base of the spine. Price marking on cover appears to have been neatly corrected/adjusted in ink by hand. Interior is clean and unmarked with a solid, secure binding. Illustrated with numerous figures. A nice copy of an extremely scarce text.
