Three issues of Analog magazine that comprise the complete three-part serialization of Gordon R. Dickson's novel The Far Call. August 1973 issue also includes the novelettes "Forty Days And Nights" by Robert Chilton and "The Epoxy Goat" by David Lewis as well as short stories by Gene Fisher, Lawrence A. Perkins, and Karl Hudgins. September 1973 issue also includes the novelette "Override" by George R.R. Martin as well as short stories by Scott W. Schumack, M. Max Maxwell, Edward Rager, and Laurence M. Janifer. October 1973 issue also includes the novelette "Whalekiller Grey" by William E. Cochrane as well as short stories by L*z*r*s L*ng [Robert A. Heinlein], Alfred D'Attore, Vonda N. McIntyre, Walt and Leigh Richmond, and Kevin O'Donnell, Jr. All three issues are in very good condition. Minimal wear to the covers and clean, unmarked interior. Some bumping to the tops of the spines resulting in some very minor tearing to the August and September issues. October issue has some faint rippling. Else a handsome set of this novel's first print appearance.
