First printing of the first edition of Hayek's monumental work of classical liberal political-economic philosophy. Copy is in very good condition. Minimal wear to the coarse black cloth boards. Text on spine still bright. Interior is clean and unmarked save for former owner's bookplate on front end paper. Binding solid and tight. Dust jacket is good. Wear to the edges and a few little chips and tears to the corners. Slight touch of loss to the top and bottom of the jacket at the spine. Now wrapped in protective Brodart jacket cover.
