Antique regimental history of the four distinct British cavalry regiments that bore the number nineteen, from the regiment raised in Ireland during the Seven Years War to the Princess of Wales' own Hussars who served in North Africa in the 1880s. Copy is in very good condition. Minimal wear to the blue cloth boards. Slight bumping to the corners. Small spot of discolouration to rear board (more visible in photograph than actuality). Gilt decoration on cover still bright. Interior is clean and unmarked save for neatly inked name along with "from the author" inscription on front free end paper. Binding solid and tight. Untrimmed pages.
