Early printing of the first US edition of Plath's second collection of poetry. Code M-Q on copyright page indicates printing in December 1966, possibly a third or fourth printing. Copy is in very good+ condition. Absolutely minimal wear to the blue cloth boards. Interior is clean and unmarked save for inked gift inscription on front free end paper. Binding is solid and tight. Untrimmed pages. Dust jacket is good-. Some minor chipping and tearing around the edges with some small portions of loss to the top of the front and around the head and the base of the spine. A couple of markings to the front of the jacket including two faint blue lines through the title. Jacket now wrapped in protective Brodart cover.
