A selection of 25 short pieces by the German writer Walser whose posthumously discovered works were originally written in a radically miniaturized German script. This collection presents the first English language translation of Walser's works accompanied with facsimiles of the original microscripts themselves as well as the original German text (in a more legible presentation!). Afterword by Walter Benjamin. Copy is in near fine condition. Absolutely minimal wear to the pictorial boards. Interior is clean and unmarked with a solid, tight binding. Dust jacket is very good with some minor edge wear. Now wrapped in protective Brodart jacket cover. A very handsome copy of a scarce and beautiful text.
