Handsome first edition of Milne's delightful collection of children's verse. With decorations by Milne's beloved illustrator Ernest H. Shepard. Copy is in good to very good condition. Some wear to the edges of the red cloth boards, mostly at the top and the base of the spine. Spine slightly faded, but the gilt decoration to the cover is still bright. Top page edge is gilt; outer edge untrimmed. Interior is clean and unmarked with a solid, secure binding.
