First edition of Bodenheim's posthumous memoir of his time in New York City prior to his 1954 murder. Illustrated by "a group of his friends". Copy is in good to very good condition. Minimal wear to the light blue cloth boards. A little bit of wear and scuffing to the top and base of the spine. Interior is clean and unmarked with a solid, square binding. Dust jacket is fair. Some general edge wear and scuffing. Small portions of loss to the corners and the top of the spine. Both the front and rear of the jacket have marks from the removal of a sticker or tape. Jacket now wrapped in protective Brodart cover. A handsome copy of a scarce first edition.
