Set of two books comprising Mary Renault's celebrated historical novelization of the life of the Greek hero Theseus. Both volumes are their respective first printings. The King Must Die (1958) is in very good condition. Minimal wear to the blue cloth boards. Interior is clean and unmarked with a solid, tight binding. Dust jacket is in good condition with some edge wear and a bit of chipping at the top of the spine. The Bull From The Sea (1962) is in very good condition, as its counterpart. Dust jacket is in very good condition with only some general edge wear and minor chipping to the base of the spine. Both jackets now wrapped in protective Brodart covers. A very nice exemplar of a somewhat scarce set of first editions.
