Fourth printing of the first U.S. edition of Hamsun's classic novel. Copy is in good condition. Mild wear to the edges of the blue cloth boards. Decoration on front board and spine still clear and bright. Interior is clean and unmarked with a bright text block. Would be very good save for slight cracking to the front end papers. Lacking dust jacket. A nice copy of an important work of Scandinavian literature.
