First edition of the short story collection from the Argentine master Borges. Not a complete translation of the Spanish original El Aleph as it misses some stories from the original and contains some not present there. Also includes a biographical essay written as a collaboration between Borges and the translator di Giovanni. Copy is in very good+ condition. Absolutely minimal wear to the blue cloth boards. Interior is clean and unmarked save for former owner's name neatly inked on the title page. Else would be near fine. Dust jacket is very good. Some wear and scuffing to the edges of the jacket. Price clipping to front flap. Jacket wrapped in protective plastic cover. A handsome copy of a most wonderful book.
