First edition of Forster's much beloved classic. Presumed first printing: no statement of subsequent printing. Copy is in very good condition. Minimal wear to the red cloth boards. Just a touch of slight fraying to the corners. Black text still clear. Interior is clean and unmarked save for ex libris sticker on front end paper. Binding is solid square with no cracking to the hinges. Promotional publisher's pamphlet advertising Mr. E.M. Forster's novels laid in. Three pages of ads at rear. Lacking dust jacket. A very nicely preserved copy a collectible classic.
