Copies of the complete prose and poetry of Baudelaire and his Letters presented as a two volume set. Both translated by Arthur Symons and published in uniform size with matching jackets by Albert & Charles Boni, thus making a handsome set.

Baudelaire: Prose and Poetry (1926) is in good+ condition. Some edge wear and scuffing to the black cloth boards. A bit of scratching to the rear board. Interior is clean and unmarked save for former owner's name neatly inked on the half title (also, it appears the half title and front free end paper were slightly stuck together at one point resulting in a small mark). Dust jacket is good with only some scratch marks resulting in minor loss (matching the scratches on the board). Now wrapped in protective plastic cover.

The Letters of Baudelaire (1927) is in good condition. Minimal wear to the black cloth boards. Library stamp and bookplate to the front end paper and an inked note "8147 S.E" to the half title. Else, interior is clean and unmarked. Some leaves unopened. Hinge visible at half title, but the binding is still solid and square. Dust jacket is fair. Some loss and tearing to the top edge. Rear flap is missing and the back of the jacket reveals some extensive, neat tape repairs. Now also wrapped in protective plastic cover. In all, a handsome uniform set of Baudelaire's complete works.
