First edition of George Dillon and Edna St. Vincent Millay's translation of Baudelaire's poetry. With a preface by St. Vincent Millay. Translations are presented facing the French originals. Copy is in good to very good condition. Minimal wear to the black cloth boards. Some markings to the rear board. Text on spine has completely faded, but a perfectly black copy of this book seems appropriate. Interior is very good indeed. Completely unmarked with a tight, solid binding. Handsomely designed end papers and a thick paper stock throughout make this edition a beautiful one.
