Early reprint of the first US octavo edition of Carroll's much beloved nonsense poem with the original illustrations by Henry Holiday. Plainly but handsomely rebound in red cloth. Copy is in very good condition thus. Absolutely minimal wear to the red cloth boards. Original text block inside is in very good shape: clean and unmarked. Binding solid and tight. A handsome exemplar of this text, despite lacking the original binding.
