Critical edition of Carroll's beloved classic from Wadsworth's series of Guides to Literary Study. Includes the full text of Alice's Adventures In Wonderland with the original illustrations by John Tenniel as well as several critical essays analyzing the work. Also included is a complete facsimile of Carroll's hand-lettered and illustrated manuscript, Alice's Adventures Under Ground presented by the author to the work's inspiration Alice Liddell in 1864. Copy is in very good condition. Minimal wear to the card wraps. Faint crease to front cover. Interior is clean and unmarked with a solid, square binding. A nice copy of a rather scarce edition.
