First edition of Cooke's historical novel set during lead up to the American Revolution. Copy is in very good condition. Minimal wear to the green cloth and brown marbled paper boards. Interior is clean and unmarked save for owner's name and date neatly inscribed on the front free end paper. Binding is solid and tight. Dust jacket is in good condition. Price clipping to front flap. Wear and creasing to the edges including a couple of small portions of loss to the top of the spine and the top of the jacket's rear. Now wrapped in protective Brodart jacket cover.
