Delightful mid-century children's book that follows the adventures of a grasshopper traveling through his little world. Hoppie himself appears on a little plastic strip that "hops" through a specially cut hole in the pages as the reader turns each page. Copy is in very good condition. Minimal wear to the pictorial boards. Interior is clean and unmarked save for former owner's name inked on first page. Plastic strip with Hoppie on is still firmly attached and passes through the pages with ease. A charming little book that is exceptionally rare to find with an intact Hoppie!
