First edition of Ondaatje's memoir of his childhood in colonial Ceylon. Copy is in very good condition. Minimal wear to the quarter green cloth and decorated paper boards. Interior is clean and unmarked with a solid, tight binding. Dust jacket is very good also. Some minor edge wear. Now wrapped in protective plastic cover. Signed by Ondaatje in rather faint gold ink on the title page.
