First Canadian edition of Leonard Cohen's celebrated novel. Copy is in very good+ condition, verging on near fine. Absolutely minimal wear to the dark blue cloth boards. Harold Town's "screaming man" image embossed on front board. Text on spine is still clear and bright. Interior is clean and unmarked with a solid, tight binding. Dust jacket is very good also. Just some minor edge wear, most notably at the head and the base of the spine. In all, a very handsome exemplar of a scarce and highly desirable "follow the flag" first edition.
