Folded folio sheet (Good: Issues 11 and 12 / Very good: Issues 14, 17, and 19)

Set of five issues of the trench newspaper produced by and for Canadian soldiers in the First World War. Each issue is one folio news-sheet, folded in four to produce eight panels. Includes The Listening Post No. 11, Feb. 3, 1916; The Listening Post, No. 12, Mar. 15, 1916; The Listening Post, No. 14, April 21, 1916; The Listening Post, No. 17, July 7, 1916, The Listening Post, No. 19, Aug. 10, 1916. Issues Nos. 11 and 12 are in good condition with some minor chips and tears to the edges. Issues Nos. 14, 17, and 19 are in very good condition with only some minor edge wear. All in all, an astoundingly well-preserved set of some fascinating historical documents. All issues now preserved in archival plastic bags.
