True first edition of Fitzgerald's beloved novel. Contains all points indicating true first. Title page dated 1925. Scribner's seal on copyright page. No subsequent printing dates. Includes the point of issue errors on pps. 60 (l.16: "chatter"), 119 (l.22: "northern Minnesota"), 165 (l.16: "it's"), 205 (l.9-10: "sick in tired"), and 211 (l.7-8: "Union Street station"). Copy is in very good condition. Minimal wear to the dark green cloth boards. Gilt text on spine is still bright. Interior is very good indeed. Front free end paper has stamps from former owner -- the Naval Library Service, Halifax, N.S. (the book was a gift to the Royal Canadian Navy from the Kiwanis Club of Winnipeg). Else the interior is clean and unmarked. A very handsome exemplar of a rare and highly desirable book. Due to the value of this item, additional shipping charges will be required.
