Early reprint of Conrad's short fiction anthology, originally collected in 1898. Includes the tales "Karain: A Memory", "The Idiots", "An Outpost of Progress", "The Return", and "The Lagoon". Copy is in very good condition. Minimal wear to the burgundy cloth boards. Faint bumping to the corners. "Joseph Conrad" decoration on cover is still bright, as is the text on the spine. Untrimmed outside and bottom page edges. Interior is clean and unmarked save for former owner's name penciled on the front free end paper. Binding still solid and tight. A charming little book.
