Lovely antique hardcover edition of Eliot's short story collection. Plate illustrations in colour and black and white by Hugh Thomson. Copy is in very good condition. Handsomely rebound in dark blue-green leather with gilt decoration by Ramage of London. Beautifully decorated cover and spine from the cloth binding bound in at rear. Interior is clean and unmarked. Gilt page edges still bright. A charming little book.
