Undated (presumably 1920s?) Navarre Society edition of dialogues by the Second Century Hellenic satirist. Translated by William Tooke with notes and an introduction by the editor N.M. Penzer and illustrated with an original series of drawings by Blanche. This edition is printed on Basingwerk Parchment and is limited to two thousand copies. This copy is in very good condition. Minimal wear to the green-blue cloth boards. Interior is clean and unmarked with a tight, solid binding. Dust jacket is good to very good. Only the faintest edge wear but a touch of loss to the head of the spine. Now wrapped in plastic jacket protector. A very handsome copy of a scarce book. Due to the size and weight of this book, additional shipping charges may be required depending on the destination.
