From the Oxford University Press' Early English Text Society Series, the second volume of the collected homilies of the 10th Century Anglo-Saxon abbot Ælfric of Eynsham. Text is in Anglo-Saxon with some Latin glosses and explanatory material in modern English. Copy is in very good condition. Minimal wear to the brown cloth boards, Gilt text and decoration to the cover and spine still bright. Interior is clean and unmarked with a solid, square binding. No dust jacket, as issued.
