Later reprint of the Oxford Medieval Text edition of Eadmer's 11th Century biography of the Italian-born Benedectine Monk St. Anselm of Canterbury. Translated, edited, and with an introduction and notes by R.W. Southern. Original Latin text is on the verso with the modern English translation on the facing page, paginated separately. Copy is in very good condition. Absolutely minimal wear to the blue cloth boards. Interior is clean and unmarked with a solid, tight binding. Dust jacket is very good with minimal edge wear. Now wrapped in a protective Brodart cover.
